It builds on the experience of more than 25 years in European programs related to education, vocational training, and youth.

These programs have covered both Europe and international cooperation in these areas.

Erasmus+ aims to go beyond these existing programs by developing and enhancing them in various fields.

It encourages new ideas, attracts new participants from the labor market and civil society, and stimulates new forms of cooperation.

The program aims to become an effective tool for addressing real needs in terms of human and social development in Europe and beyond.
