Today, December 23, 2019 at the Department of Propedeutics of Childhood Diseases of the I.K. Akhunbayev, the opening of a memorial plaque dedicated to the blessed memory of Professor, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Honored Doctor of the Kyrgyz Republic, founder of the present department Tatyana Ivanovna Pokrovskaya took place.

By the decision of the Academic Council of the university, the department was named after it. At the opening ceremony, the pro-rector of KSMA K. Yrysov, academician D. Kudayarov, professors A.
