Recently, the Morphological Building of the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy named after I. K. Akhunbaev hosted the First inter-faculty Student Olympiad in forensic medicine under the slogan "Steps to Knowledge", dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the university's establishment with the participation of seven teams. The team members competed in a competition program consisting of four sections (greeting, literary contest, "quest" contest, "description of a corpse" contest).

1st place – to the team "Dexter" (team members Labora Diana, Nyshanbayeva Ayperi, Silantieva Lydia-6th year, medical faculty)

2nd place – team "Justice" (team members Aliev Nasiba, Song Urim, Rasulova Baktygul-6th year, medical faculty)

3rd place – team "Dead Pool" (team members Turusbekova Tinatin, Erkinbek kyzy Aigerim, Isaev Sagynbek – 5th and 6th courses, dental and medical faculties)

The teams that won the prizes were awarded with the corresponding diplomas and cups. Members of all teams and organizers – certificates, and the staff of the RCSME of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, the staff of the Sokuluk district Department of Forensic Medicine-letters of thanks.

The Olympiad was held to promote the specialty, test the theoretical and practical training of students. The participants and winners of the event were warmly welcomed by the Vice-Rector of KSMU, Professor Erkin Alymbayev.
