Today, on February 20, the I.Razzakov KSTU hosts the launch conference on the official launch of the Quality and Innovation in Higher Education project, funded by the World Bank. This project is aimed at developing scientific and research potential and improving the quality of higher professional education. The project involves 5 higher educational institutions of Kyrgyzstan with a special status - I.K.Akhunbayev KSMU, I.Razzakov KSTU, J.Balasagyn KNU, K.Scriabin KNAU and Osh State University.

As part of the project, it is planned to launch Centers of Excellence in these 5 universities in various fields, which will serve as an interdisciplinary research core and a catalyst for innovative research in Kyrgyzstan.
Within the framework of the project, the KSMU plans to create a Center of Excellence for Biomedical Research, which will focus on conducting scientific and diagnostic research in the following 3 areas (topics):
morphological examination of histological or cytological samples: immunohistochemical, etc.
molecular biological, microbiological and biochemical studies of biological samples
bioequivalence studies of pharmaceutical preparations.
Prior to the conference, on February 19, a workshop was held at the KSMU with the participation of project coordinators from the World Bank, experts, and representatives of the WHO country office in Kyrgyzstan.
