Today, March 27, 2025, as part of the visit of the Teikyo University delegation (Japan) to the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy (KSMА) named after I.K. Akhunbaev, a meeting took place between KSMА Rector Indira Kudaybergenova and distinguished guests — Professors Shinji Kawamura and Michiko Kawamura from the University of Nursing, Miyazaki Prefecture.
The meeting was attended by Vice-Rector for International Relations and Strategic Development Gulmira Jumalieva, psychologist and coach Tynarbek Arzykulov, and Head of the International Department Turnisa Yusupova. During the discussions, participants addressed key areas of collaboration, including the development of educational programs, the organization of joint scientific research, and the promotion of initiatives for student and faculty exchanges.
The Rector of KSMU emphasized the importance of strengthening international ties for the development of medical science and education, noting that the partnership with Teikyo University opens new opportunities for the academy. The guests, in turn, expressed their interest in deepening cooperation, highlighting the high potential and professionalism of KSMU’s teaching staff.
The discussion took place in a warm and productive atmosphere. Participants expressed confidence that upcoming joint projects would make a significant contribution to the development of medicine and science, fostering stronger relations between Kyrgyzstan and Japan.
