Obituary - Kadyrov Mavlyanjan Momunovich

At the age of 73, after a long illness, Kadyrov Mavlyanjan Momunovich, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology of the I. K. Akhunbayev KSMU, died prematurely.

Mavlyanjan Momunovich was born on December 21, 1948 in Przhevalsk (now Karakol), in the Ysyk-Kul region in the family of a worker. In 1964, after finishing school, he entered the Przheval Medical School and graduated in 1968. After that, he worked as a paramedic in the Ak-Shiyrak district hospital. In 1970, he entered the Faculty of "Medical Science" at the KSMI, where he graduated with honors in 1976 and was accepted as a clinical resident, and then a post-graduate student of the Department of ENT Diseases of the KSMI. In 1982, he defended his thesis for the degree of Candidate of Medical Sciences.

 

Since 1981, he worked as an assistant, in 1990 he became an associate professor of the Department of ENT Diseases of the KSMU. In 2009, he defended his doctoral dissertation. Since the same year, Acting Professor of the Department of ENT Diseases of the KSMU. 

For many years, he combined his main position with practical health care. He organized a medical center in the free economic zone of Bishkek, DSK "Azat", a medical center in Kumtor.

He took an active part in the public life of the KSMU. He worked in the committee of the Komsomol, the trade union organization of students and employees of the KSMU, was the chairman of the board of dormitories, was the secretary of the attestation commission for otorhinolaryngology, a member of the faculty and spec. soviets under the KSMA. 

He was the author of 58 printed works, more than 10 methodological recommendations, 2 monographs, 1 essay, 7 rationalization proposals and 1 author's certificate. The professor also combined teaching and research activities.

An excellent healthcare worker, a doctor of the highest category, a specialist in the field of otorhinolaryngology, a professional in his field, a mentor to young colleagues, an attentive teacher who raised more than one generation of doctors, enjoyed the respect of colleagues and students.

Friends, students across the country, colleagues, and today's students are grieving an irreparable loss.
