In the Tash-Debe village on September 28 of this year, a grand opening of the student campus named after I.K. Akylbekov for foreign students of the Medical Academy of Kyrgyzstan was held with the participation of senior staff of the university, medical institutions and some workers of republican bodies, as well as the heads of the Tash-Deben village of the Chui region .
The ceremony was opened by the rector of the Medical Academy, professor Indira Orozobaevna Kudaibergenova. She noted in her speech that it was Professor I.K. Akylbekov who was the founder of teaching foreign students at KSMA and in honor of him, by the decision of the Academic Council; the student campus was named after the former rector of KSMA, Professor I.K. Akylbekov.
Academicians Duishe Kudayarov, Mitalip Mamytov, Abdykadyr Asambayev, Rakhat Omorov, Dokturbek Adambekov, Asylbek Aydaraliev shared their memories and congratulated the audience. Then the chairman of the trade union of medical workers of the Kyrgyz Republic Naken Saliev, professor, doctor of medical sciences Talantbek Batyraliev, head of village Bakyt Beishenaliev and a representative of the local Kenesh addressed the distinguished audience with greetings and wishes.
The opening of the memorial plaque of I.K. Akylbekov gave special significance to the event. The family and friends of Professor Akylbekov, headed by his wife Mairam Akhmedova and Professor Sh. Chyngyshbaev, laid flowers and removed the cover from the memorial plaque. It should be noted that representatives of the International Higher School of Medicine brought beautiful trees as a gift and planted them on campus. The celebration was accompanied by the song and dance of the KSMA students.
