A few days ago in Bishkek, demonstration events were held to provide emergency assistance in emergency situations. Students of the scientific society of the KSMA (NOMUS) named after .I. K. Akhunbaev and student volunteers of the ESO EAST Kyrgyzstan stroke project took an active part in this event, demonstrating their skills in providing care for cardiogenic shock, long-term compression syndromes, burns, fractures, car accidents and acute stroke.

The specialist of the distance learning department of the Medical Academy Inna Lutsenko prepared the students-volunteers of the ESO EAST Kyrgyzstan project, the 4th-year student Daria Gerasimova and the doctor of the SMP of Bishkek, Anna Shapovalova.

The volunteers told about the important stroke recognition algorithm “SOKKU", invented by students of the KSMA neurological community. Each letter of the algorithm carries information about important functions of the nervous system (movements of the face, hands and feet, the patient's condition). This algorithm is already popular with patients and is actively used to train the population to prevent stroke.

The action was organized by the initiative Group of the SOB of the Kyrgyz Republic and the NGO of the Union of German Shepherd Lovers together with the Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in Bishkek, the Public Charity Fund “Hands of Good", OF “Dari Dobro".

The "World Emergency Day" event is held every second Saturday in September.
