On June 13, 2019, students of the I. K. Akhunbaev Medical Academy took part in the First interuniversity Student Conference on the development of volunteerism in our country. It was organized by the Ministry of Labor and Social Development of the Kyrgyz Republic with the technical support of the National Red Crescent Society of the Kyrgyz Republic and the MUC.

Future doctors told the conference participants about their own experience and observations of volunteer work acquired during medical care for patients. They also took an active part in conducting workshops on nursing skills, origami, fitness, and art therapy.

The conference organizers highly appreciated the students ' participation in the interuniversity event and presented them with letters of thanks and certificates.
