University life 1 17 April 2019

Recently, the city of Perm (Russia) hosted the IV All-Russian Student Olympiad in Otorhinolaryngology with international participation. The Kyrgyz State Medical Academy named after I. K. Akhunbaev was represented by 3 students: Karima Khalilova, Aigerim Kasymova and Valeria Bondarenko.

16 competitions were held, in which 29 teams from different universities of the Russian Federation and neighboring countries took part. Future doctors competed in both practical skills and theoretical knowledge. Despite the palpable tension in each competition, the Olympiad was held in a businesslike atmosphere.

Kyrgyz students confidently performed in competitions, showing the best results of training in practical and theoretical competitions, excellently presented KSMA and deservedly received a high rating.

It should be noted that after the Olympics, a bilateral memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Medical Academy and the Perm State Medical University named after Academician E. A. Wagner.
