We have received the General Information for the long-term course«Universal Health Coverage» (for obtaining the Master Degree of Public Health in Global Health (MPH)) that will be conducted in English language at the Tokyo Medical and Dental University (Japan) from spring 2024. The deadline for application submission to the Ministry of Finance is the September 15, 2023.
Applicants must satisfy the following requirements:
(1) Current Duties: Government official, prospective academics, personnel who are expected to contribute to policy formulation and/or implementation to resolve sustainable developmental issues related to public health.
(2) Nationality: Citizen of the above countries
(3) Age: Less than forty (40) years old in principle (As of April 1 st , 2024)
(4) Educational Background: holder of bachelor and/or higher degree
(5) Language: adequate English skills both in written and oral communication to complete master’s course with skills equivalent or exceeding the followings. TOEFL iBT: 80 IELTS: 6.5
(6) Physical Presence: must physically come to Japan to carry out research activities to complete this program.
(7) Others: Applicants must not be receiving nor planning to receive another scholarship during the program.
Candidates should read the Brochure of General Information intently, and submit the following documents to the Ministry of Finance:
- Application Form (Original and copy with photos pasted on it)
- Copy of Graduation certificate/diploma and Academic transcript (written in English or accompanied with official translation in English)
- Copy of certificate of English test
- Copy of valid ordinary passport
- Cover letter from your own organization addressed to Ministry of Finance (on the official letterhead of an organization with a date, serial number, signature and stamp of the organization)
